Sarah Gogel is a Paris-based Franco-American consultant, social entrepreneur and professor at Sciences Po and Paris 8 in entrepreneurship, international development and human rights law. Sarah has been involved as a consultant at Stone Soup since 2016 and has also consulted on high social impact consultancy projects focused on capacity-building, youth empowerment and education such as for the European Commission and the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie. Sarah is also the founder and Executive Director of YES Akademia, an NGO based in France, Senegal, India, Haiti and Nicaragua that is focused on youth empowerment and community development. She has in-depth experience working with diverse at-risk populations in all these countries as well as in the USA, Israel and Palestine. Sarah graduated from Harvard College in Sociology with a minor in Hindi and Urdu and has a Masters in Sustainable International Development from the Heller School of Policy and Management at Brandeis. She also carried out her Juris Doctorate at Northeastern University School of Law and a Masters in Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University in New York.
