Stone Soup's pro bono programme 'Recipes for Impact' is back!

Call for applications period: Dec 14th 2022 – Jan 15th 2023

Stone Soup is launching the second edition of its ‘Recipes for Impact’ pro bono programme. This year, we aim to support small organisations and social businesses that have a specific focus on defending and promoting human rights in the world.

This second edition has gathered 15 Stone Soup consultants that will voluntarily mentor initiatives with challenges related to 7 specific fields of work:

– Strategic Planning
– Organisational Development
– Human Resources Management
– Social Impact Management and Evaluation
– Social Business Models and Plans
– Advocacy Campaigns
– Social Media Strategy

Topic

The 2023 edition of Recipes for Impact will be dedicated to support organisations and social businesses promoting and defending human rights at a local, national or international level.


Applicant organisations


Recipes for Impact 2023 aims to address a maximum of 8 organisations or social businesses that need support to face a concrete organisational challenge they are facing within the 7 fields of work. Each applicant organisation will have to fill a form where they can describe the nature of the challenge, as well as the outcomes they expect after the mentoring sessions. Stone Soup will then select a maximum of 8 organisations that fulfill the chriteria.

This second edition has a special focus on small to medium organisations and social entrepreneurs. Applicant entities should have an annual budget of maximum 1M€/year or less than 10 employees.  

Each organisation or social business will be able to apply to more than one mentoring field of expertise, however – if selected- they will only be able to receive support in one of the chosen areas.

Mentoring sessions

During the month of February, Stone Soup will organise one to one mentoring sessions with the selected entities. Each selected organisation will be mentored by a team of two Stone Soup consultants that are experts in the requested field of work. Each organisation will receive two sessions of 1h each to address the challenge they are facing.

Recipes for Impact 2023 will be able to deliver the mentoring sessions in different languages:

– Strategic Planning: English, Spanish and Portuguese
– Organisational Development: English
– Human Resources Management: English and Portuguese
– Social Impact Management and Evaluation: English, Spanish and Portuguese
– Social Business Models and Plans: English and Spanish
– Advocacy Campaigns: English
– Social Media Strategy: English
