Whether you are from an NGO, foundation, cooperative, or another type of civil society organisation, this training is tailored to help you proactively navigate the future, crafting an actionable roadmap to achieve the desired outcomes.

TRAINER:

Principal Consultant at Stone Soup Consulting focused on the creation and modelling of Social Business, Strategic Planning, Sustainability, Communications and Marketing, Human Centred Design and Organisational Development.

Holds a degree in Biology with a specialisation in Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility Management. Has worked with organisations such as the Alliance for Mediterranean Nature & Culture, Mediterranean Alliance for Wetlands, Observadores del Mar, Low Impact Fisheries of Europe, Graal, African Movement of Working Children and Youth, BirdLife, Euronatur and Alliance Public Trust.

Proficient in supporting the development of organisational strategies and Theory of Change for entities such as Alliance Public Trust, Bios Cape Verde, Alliance for Wetlands, and Low Impact Fisheries of Europe.

He also has 5 years of experience as an innovation consultant, applying various methodologies for projects related to innovation management, strategic planning, processes, and product creation, having supported small, medium, and big companies such as Natura, Fibria, Saint-Gobain and Bosch.

Travelled worldwide for 2 years, participating in social and environmental NGOs and projects in South Africa, Botswana, Malawi, Laos and Uganda. Acted mostly with grassroots organisations. He was a member of the social organisation Teto – participating in projects such as socio-economic diagnosis of families; construction of emergency houses and projects in community development. He was part of the organisation’s office, acting in Diagnosis and Communication area.

Daniel is Brazilian, and speaks English and Portuguese.

  • Identifying the long-term objectives, goals and pillars that align with the organisation’s vision and mission.

SWOT and PESTLE Analysis

  • Explaining the purpose of these two basic tools and how they can be used.

Understanding Futurescoping

  • Explaining the concept of futurescoping and its relationship to strategic planning to develop more robust and resilient strategies.

Integrating Other tools

  • Discussing more complex techniques, such as trend analysis, systems thinking and future scenarios.

Strategic Plan Development

  • Developing a well-structured and comprehensive strategic plan document.

Monitoring and Evaluation for Strategic Plans

  •  Identifying key metrics to measure progress towards strategic goals.
