Strategic Communication

Effective People Management

COURSE ENGLISH EDITION / FEB 2025

A vital tool for changemakers

SYNOPSIS:

In a world where driving social change requires influence, visibility and collaboration, strategic communication has become a vital tool for changemakers. Communication is key for any social organisation, whether because it supports its financial sustainability through fundraising, it raises awareness and pushes for new public policies, it enables transparency and accountability, or even because it strengthens the flow of information, mastering our communication is crucial.

Being strategic in our communication is not only key to improve our access to these opportunities, but also to boost the social and environmental impact that your organisation is creating. During this we will learn about narrative, communication plans, digital tools and – most important – how to adjust our strategy to the resources available.

This training provides a comprehensive framework to understand how communication systems work today, as well as a dive into the main elements and tools that we need to include in our strategies to take our social impact further. Through interactive sessions, real-world case studies, and hands-on exercises, this training empowers changemakers to transform communication into a catalyst for social change. Whether working in advocacy, public health, community development, social innovation or environmental sustainability, participants will leave with a better and stronger understanding of communication as a strong ally in the path to the change they seek.

This course invites participants to reflect on and redesign their current Communication Plan to boost their social impact.
